Volunteer Registration

Safe Sanctuary Training

  • Required for all volunteers 18 and older. If you need to attend a Safe Sanctuary Training or need to complete a Safe Sanctuary Refresher Form, you will receive an email from Kristina Killman.
  • If needed, Safe Sanctuary Training is now available online.

Volunteer Training and Breakout Sessions (Attend One)

  • Wednesday, May 6
    Volunteer Training 6:30-7:30 PM
  • Sunday, May 17
    Volunteer Training 3:00-4:00 PM
  • Wednesday, May 27
    Volunteer Training 6:30-7:30 PM
  • Sunday, May 31
    Volunteer Training at 3:00-4:00 PM

All Systems Go (Attend One)

Join us as we kick off VBS week! We will provide final details for VBS and you will receive your name tag and wrist band for secure entry to the building.

  • Sunday, June 7 at 3:00 PM in the Sanctuary
  • Sunday, June 7 at 5:00 PM in the Sanctuary

T-Shirts

  • T-Shirts for volunteers and children will be for sale at training.
  • Purchase early as there is a limited supply.

Student Volunteers: 

  • Students just completing 6th grade and up may volunteer. Register to volunteer using the link below.
  • Students under 18 DO NOT need Safe Sanctuary Training, but should plan to attend one Volunteer Training.
  • Please know most Student Volunteers will serve in crews.

Adult Volunteers: 

  • All adults 18 and older must be Safe Sanctuary Trained.
  • If your child is too young to participate in VBS, nursery will be available while you volunteer. Sign up for Nursery Care will be during training sessions, not online.

Volunteers are assigned to a Preschool Classroom where they will help guide children through the VBS experience. No teaching required.

Volunteers are assigned to a Preschool Classroom where they will help guide children through the VBS experience. No teaching required.

Volunteers are assigned to a Crew of up to 10 children where they will help guide children through the VBS stations. No teaching required.

Elementary Crew Guide (K-2nd Grade)

Volunteers are assigned to a Crew of up to 10 children where they will help guide children through the VBS stations. No teaching required.

Volunteers are assigned to a Crew of up to 10 children where they will help guide children in a home base experience as well as through the VBS stations. No teaching required.

You must be in 9th Grade or older to volunteer here.

Volunteers will travel to classrooms to distribute provided craft supplies and give instruction for daily craft projects.
