Student Spring Calendar 2026

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Our theme for this school year is, “A Place Where Everyone Belongs.” This theme reflects our student ministry’s heart to create a welcoming, authentic community where every student feels accepted and valued — regardless of their background, questions or beliefs.

While our foundation is built on a belief in Jesus and the truth of the gospel as taught in the Bible, we believe that you don’t have to believe like us to belong with us. We want every student to know they are welcome here, to explore faith at their own pace and to experience real relationships in a safe and supportive environment

Join us for an incredible night packed with free snacks, fun games, powerful worship and a Christ-centered message — all alongside dozens of your friends.

Join us for a meaningful and memorable weekend designed to help students grow deeper in their faith, build authentic community and prepare their hearts for Confirmation. We’ll gather Friday – Sunday, January 23–25, 2026 at Camp Longridge in Ridgeway, SC for a powerful experience filled with engaging teaching sessions, intentional small group conversations, fun group activities and unhurried time to reflect and connect. The retreat begins Friday evening with drop-off from 6:30-7:30 PM, continues through a full Saturday of sessions, free time, a special bonfire and concludes Sunday morning as parents join us for a 10:00 AM worship service before we pack up and head home. This weekend is designed to create space for faith to be explored, questions to be wrestled with and commitments to be strengthened — an essential step in every student’s Confirmation journey.

It’s that time of year – Best WKND Ever Vol. 6! Middle school and high school students are invited to join us Friday–Sunday, March 13–15, for a fantastic weekend filled with worship, teaching, guest speakers, small groups, games, competitions, food, fun and tons of friends.

High School will spend the weekend, while Middle School will return home after activities.

Confirmation Sunday takes place during Mt. Horeb Church’s Contemporary Services in the Auditorium at 9:00 and 10:45 AM. Students will sit together during the service and have the opportunity to be recognized, join in church membership and be baptized – if they have never been baptized before. The church will also enjoy a recap video that will include clips from the Retreat.  Students will be asked to wear their Confirmation t-shirt with either pants or skirt – no shorts.

The Confirmation Ceremony will be held in Mt. Horeb Church’s Sanctuary. We will celebrate the students’ completion of Confirmation by praying over each student, awarding certificates and giving them a brief chance to remember their journey. We will also use this time to thank their Mentors. Friends and family members are invited and encouraged to attend. A reception will follow the ceremony including light snacks and a photo booth. More details will be sent out closer to the date of this event. The dress code is semi-formal attire.
