We are dedicated to meeting the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of our special needs individuals and families. We provide a service designed for individuals with special needs so that families are able to attend the 10:45 AM worship services with confidence that their family members are being well cared for.

Sunday School

We meet weekly at 10:45 AM in Room 249. Please contact our Special Needs Coordinator, Michelle Hunt, to see which class is best for your student or family member. All ages welcome.

Joy Day Program

The Midlands Special Needs Foundation operates the Joy Day Program on Mt. Horeb’s campus. This post-high school, tuition-based day program is designed to empower and encourage young adults with special needs to reach their full potential by providing spiritual, social, educational and daily living opportunities. Special Needs Basketball

This special league is a fantastic opportunity for families with special needs members. Ages 5 and older. Registration is required. Games are played on Saturdays in December and January.

Special Needs Gathering

This is a place for special needs young adults, ages 14 and up, to connect with a time of worship and community. This small group meets on Wednesdays 6:00 – 7:30 PM. If you have any questions contact Michelle Hunt.

 

Vacation Bible School

VBS is offered for our special friends of all ages during Mt. Horeb’s evening session. This session offers specifically designed programming for our participants.
