VIDEOGRAPHER
The Videographer at Mt. Horeb Church plays a vital role in telling the story of God’s work through powerful, creative and compelling video content. This position is both a ministry and a mission— supporting the church’s vision by capturing and producing visuals that inspire, inform and invite people into a deeper relationship with Christ.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate with pastors and ministry leaders to gather ideas and concepts, consult to enhance and tell a compelling story through video.
- Storyboard, script, plan, shoot, edit and produce video projects related to sermon series, promotional videos, testimony videos and more.
- Perform basic off-camera interviews for testimonies.
- Assist in managing projects and timelines with the Production Team.
- Assist in developing ideas and concepts for sermon series.
- Schedule, capture and edit stories of Mt. Horeb and those impacted by the ministry of the church.
- Capture and edit highlight videos of large all-church special events.
- Coordinate actors, props, locations and other resources for video projects.
- Participate in worship planning, representing the interests of visual and artistic learners in the church.
- Photography as needed for special events or services.
- Works Christmas Eve, Easter, VBS and other large-scale events as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Degree in video production or related degree.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a large church setting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work positively in a team-based environment.
- Understanding of and willingness to reach a high standard of excellence.
- Ability to interpret and enhance others’ visions.
- Proven expertise in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, etc..
- Basic audio knowledge (synching of audio, EQ, compression)
- Ability to manage/prioritize workload to meet varying timelines.
- Ability to generate new ideas and work them through implementation.
This full-time position reports directly to the Communications Director.
