10:10 BRIDGE AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM ASSISTANT
Assists the 10:10 Bridge Director in planning and preparation of the daily activities of 10:10 Bridge Afterschool Program which includes ensuring the daily volunteer staffing of adults and high school student volunteers, food prep and service, drivers and transportation. Work schedule will be primarily Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, up to 18 hours a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure areas used for programing are set up and look attractive each day
- Ensure supplies and learning tools are available for mentors and child participants
- Assist mentors in accomplishing daily program goals
- Assist in planning, preparation and implementation of Bible study for students
- Assist with registration of new children to include intake assessment with parent or guardian
- Assist organizing special events around holidays
- Required working presence at Christmas Eve, VBS, Easter or other large church events as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Active church involvement
- Three years of experience working with children
- Ability to accomplish and complete duties independently and with a team
- Proven time management skills
- Strong communication, organizational and writing skills
- Striving for excellence in ministry
- Reports directly to 10:10 Bridge Afterschool Program Director
WORK DETAILS
- 18 hours per week
- Afternoon hours expected Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
- Reports to 10:10 Bridge Afterschool Program Director
- Located in Lexington, SC
