Christmas at Mt. Horeb

Join us for this holiday season!

Every Christmas season, Christians across the globe celebrate the world-changing moment of Jesus’ birth, when God chooses to put on flesh to live and walk among us, know us and ultimately, sacrifice Himself for us. The birth of Jesus was a fulfillment of many promises in scripture, one of which tells us that Jesus would be called Immanuel, meaning “God with us.” As we celebrate the forgiveness for our sins we have received by grace through faith in Jesus, we also have a responsibility to continue that same promise by carrying the same love of Jesus into the world. We were created to do great and wonderful things for the good of others and the glory of God. God works in us so He can work through us for His eternal purposes.

We hope you will join us this Advent season for any of our events or services either in-person or online. It is truly the most wonderful time of the year and we are excited to see what God will do!

The Joy of Christmas

Christmas is a season overflowing with joy. Not because of lights, gifts or traditions, but because of the good news that God has come near. Through the birth of Jesus, heaven’s joy pushed back earth’s sorrow. This four-week series explores four expressions of Christmas joy: the joy of anticipation, exaltation, invitation and revelation. From the ancient prophecies to the angels’ songs, from the genealogies to the manger, every part of the story points to this truth, true joy is found in Jesus. Join us on Sundays beginning November 30.
