WEST CAMPUS WORSHIP LEADER

This position will provide worship leadership to the Mt. Horeb West Campus. The goal is to develop and disciple a worship team of vocalists and instrumentalists that lead the weekly Sunday morning service and any special service event. As an extension of Mt. Horeb Church, the weekly worship set will also be planned consistently to follow the same service flow as the Contemporary Worship service.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead worship weekly at the West Campus worship service
  • Develop, organize, and schedule the weekly Worship Team for West Campus
  • Manage services in Planning Center in support of the Campus Pastor
  • Manage any software needed in worship (i.e. Ableton for clicks, tracks, etc)
  • Coordinate weekly with the West Campus Production Coordinator for service needs
  • Work with the Contemporary Worship Director to establish healthy systems that are consistent with the Contemporary Worship ministry; i.e. band auditions, onboarding, scheduling, development and discipleship ministry.
  • Assist the Campus Pastor with the plan for any load in and load out services
  • Support the overall worship ministry and vision at Mt. Horeb Church

Qualifications and Experience

  • Strong vocal ability to sing and lead worship
  • Proficient in either guitar or keyboard
  • Proven leadership qualities
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Striving for excellence in ministry
  • Organizational skills necessary

This is a 20 hour a week position that reports to the Pastoral Intern, Chris Morgan
