WEST CAMPUS KIDS COORDINATOR

The West Campus Kids Ministry Coordinator is responsible for the planning, programing and execution of Kids Ministry including volunteer scheduling, room prep and curriculum of all kids events.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with others on leadership team to build church culture
  • Partner with families in the discipleship of their children
  • Recruit, train and shepherd volunteers
  • Research, plan and prepare age-appropriate Bible lessons and activities for children ages infants—5th graders
  • Schedule Sunday morning leaders. Email lessons and room assignments no later than the Thursday morning before for team to be prepared.
  • Team lead for Sunday morning classes for infants through 5th grade to include covering Check In Process, managing Safa Sanctuary Policy, meeting leader needs for classrooms, Bible teaching
  • Develop and maintain safe, inviting and age-appropriate environments Uphold and enforce the Safe Sanctuary Policy (Child Protection Policy) of Mt. Horeb Church
  • Required working presence at Easter, VBS, Christmas Eve and other large volume events as needed Other duties as assigned

This part-time position (20 hours per week) reports directly to the Pastoral Intern, Chris Morgan. Must be located in Gilbert, SC, Batesburg-Leesville, SC or Lexington, SC.
