ORCHESTRA DIRECTOR

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule weekly orchestra players as needed using Planning Center Online
- Upload sheet music to Planning Center as needed
- Print sheet music as needed for musical clarifications
- Communicate with players as needed for musical clarifications
- Attend weekly Traditional Worship team meeting
- Light arranging of music as needed
- Plan and execute orchestra team socials quarterly
- Assist Traditional Worship Admin in onboarding any new players
- Partner with Traditional Worship Director in growing the orchestra program
- Required working presence at Christmas Eve, Classic Christmas Concert, Christmas Musical, VBS, Easter, and/or other large church events as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- BS or BA in music
- Experience in leading rehearsals
- Experience in instrumental conducting
- Ability to accomplish and complete duties independently and with a team
- Proven time management skills
- Proven leadership qualities
- Striving for excellence in ministry
- Organizational and administration skills necessary
WORK DETAILS
- This position requires 15-20 hours weekly
- Reports directly to the Traditional Worship Director
