JUNE
12 TROPICAL TUESDAY – Calling all Middle School Girls to come and hang out with Henslee Chastain at Tropical Smoothie Cafe’ in Lexington. Drop your student off from 12:00-1:30pm with money to order their snack. They can invite friends and this will be a great time to hang out relationally, and to connect with our student ministry summer intern. Bringing friends is more than welcome!
15 FORTNITE FRIDAY – Middle School boys are invited to join us at Mt. Horeb UMC Student Room for a night of Fortnite. We will have a great time of fun and fellowship from 5:30-10pm. We are asking students to bring their own consoles for play. If you have a smaller/more portable TV or Screen bring that as well, but we will also provide as many as we can for the night. We will have dinner provided and we encourage students to bring friends.
***bringing a console is NOT a must to attend. Many students play on mobile devices (bring a charger) and we will encourage others to share play time
17-22 Vacation Bible School – We are excited to know so many students will be volunteering this week. We, as a student ministry staff, will be around the building looking for students, encouraging them and enjoying time seeing them hard at work. We would also love to catch a meal with parents and students so if you are going somewhere and need some company, let us know!!
24 NO SUNDAY SCHOOL THIS SUNDAY – This is our VBS Celebration Sunday so students will want to be in the service that Sunday. Also Daniel “stallion” Stevanus will be speaking along side of Pastor Jeff that Sunday. So come to the service and show your support!
27 Girls Paddle Boarding on the Lake –Head over to the Coates’ House from 3:00-5:00pm for some fun on the lake. We will have a fun time paddle boarding and swimming together. Cost is $15 collected up arrival.
JULY
8 NO Sunday School this week – due to summer schedule, WV Mission Trip and staff out of town we will be taking this week off. See you next week for our regular Sunday School Schedule.
8-14 West Virginia NEXTSTEP Mission Trip – Be in prayer for our team who will be away this week for our mission trip to West Virginia.
18 LAKE DAY at Stallion’s House – That’s right, our whole Middle School group is invited to to 140 Pine Point Dr in Lexington for an afternoon on the Lake. 5:30-9pm at Daniel Stevanus’ House. Join us as we have fun on the Lake with swimming, boating and fun on the dock, as well as sports and activities in the grass, Volleyball, Soccer. Cost is $5 at the door and dinner will be provided
26-28 STAYCATION 2018 – Enjoy all the fun of going away with student ministry friends while staying in town. Thursday 26th and Friday 27th we will have activities during the day for students (must register to attend) and high energy night sessions in the evening with band, guest speaker, video, games, snacks and more! This year our Staycation will end on Saturday with attending the John Crist Comedy Tour at Mt. Horeb UMC. Students who register for Staycation will have a ticket for the Comedy Night.

They can invite friends and this will be a great time to hang out relationally, and to connect with our Middle School Youth Pastor. Bringing friends is more than welcome!
