RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Able to work in a confidential environment
  • Provide administrative assistance mainly to Human Resources and Recreation ministries as required or as requested including correspondences, data management, filing and taking telephone messages
  • Draft memos/letters as appropriate and correspond with public and members on a regular basis
  • Schedule and perform word processing activities; format, revise and print final copies of complex and confidential documents for Human Resources, Membership Assimilation and Leisure Ministries
  • Maintain the department calendar; coordinate schedules for all three ministries and assist with scheduled programs after regular business hours
  • Maintain the Upward League Manager software database and maintain updated Recreation schedules and information on Recreation page under the church website
  • Maintain company files, electronic and hard copy alike; assist with maintaining the church application process and the church policy and procedure manual and updates
  • Perform other administrative or office duties as required or as assigned; assist other church employees for high volume events including but not limited to funerals, Vacation Bible School, holiday events at the church or other events as needed
