RESPONSIBILITIES
- Able to work in a confidential environment
- Provide administrative assistance mainly to Human Resources and Recreation ministries as required or as requested including correspondences, data management, filing and taking telephone messages.
- Draft memos/letters as appropriate and correspond with public and members on a regular basis
- Schedule and perform word processing activities; format, revise and print final copies of complex and confidential documents for Human Resources, Membership Assimilation and Leisure Ministries
- Maintain the department calendar; coordinate schedules for all three ministries and assist with scheduled programs after regular business hours
- Maintain the Upward League Manager software database and maintain updated Recreation schedules and information on Recreation page under the church website
- Maintain company files, electronic and hard copy alike; assist with maintaining the church application process and the church policy and procedure manual and updates
- Perform other administrative or office duties as required or as assigned; assist other church employees for high volume events including but not limited to funerals, vacation Bible School, holiday events at the church or other events as needed
