Adult Choir and Orchestra

The Mt. Horeb Choir is a vital component of our worship each Sunday morning in the Traditional Worship services. Aside from singing each Sunday in worship, the choir performs at special events throughout the year. Rehearsals are held in the Choir Room on Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:45 PM. Consisting of both contract and volunteer musicians, our Mt. Horeb Orchestra rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:45-9:00 PM in the Sanctuary.

Contemporary Worship

There are several opportunities to serve on the Worship Team in the Contemporary services. From auditioning for the band to singing in our Worship Choir for special services, we believe God has called us to exalt His name through music.

Student Worship

We offer dynamic worship for our students during weekly programming time alongside Student Ministry. Developing students who have a musical talent to engage in spiritual and musical leadership is a strong value in our church. Also, there is an opportunity annually to attend Worship Workshops where students can grow in a specific musical area and in Christian leadership.

Production Team

The Production Team at Mt. Horeb Church is committed to using every avenue of communication to introduce all people to God. Whether through video, sound, lighting, photography, preaching, stage help or art, we believe God can use you to reach others. We have a team that serves Contemporary Worship and a team that serves Traditional Worship.

Kids Choir

Music is a large part of our Kids Ministry at Mt. Horeb. Kids Choir is offered on Sunday afternoons from 4:00-5:00 PM for the months of September through May. Kids currently in 1st through 5th grades are invited to come and sing God’s praises, while also learning some basic music principles. Their director implements age specific tools and techniques, providing a fun, enriching experience. Kids Choir sings in Traditional Worship, Contemporary Worship and seasonal opportunities.

Handbell Choir

Common Bond Hand Bell Choir is a group of women and men who come together to worship God through the beautiful sounds of bells. They meet on Mondays from 6:30-8:00 PM. Our handbell choir rings in church multiple times a year and are sought after to play at community events, nursing homes and other churches.
