Back to School Bash — 6th-8th Grade Students
August 9 // 4-6 PM // Mt. Horeb Front Parking Lot
Kick off the school year with an afternoon of fun at our Middle School Back to School Bash! Join us from 4-6 PM in the front parking lot at Mt. Horeb Church for an exciting time with friends before school starts back. Enjoy a live DJ, giant inflatables, games, prizes, snacks and plenty of opportunities to connect with other students. Whether you’re new or have been around for years, this is a great chance to celebrate the end of summer and start the school year together. Bring your friends and get ready for a super fun afternoon! Stick around for the MS/HS Student Kickoff following the Back to School Bash.

Middle school and high school students, it’s time to kick off a new year together! Join us from 6:00–7:30 PM in the Student Room for an exciting night filled with games, worship, biblical teaching and awesome giveaways. Whether you’re returning or checking things out for the first time, this is the perfect opportunity to connect with friends, meet new people and discover what God has in store for this year in Student Ministry. Come ready for a high-energy night, meaningful worship and plenty of fun. Bring a friend and don’t miss the biggest student gathering of the season!

Rooted — 6th-12th Grade Students
October 9-10 // Covenant GMC in Greer, SC
Rooted Student Conference is a powerful weekend designed for middle and high school students who want to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Hosted at Covenant GMC, this conference will challenge students to build a faith that is firmly rooted in God’s Word and strong enough to stand through life’s challenges. Students will experience dynamic worship, engaging biblical teaching, meaningful small group discussions and opportunities to connect with other students from across the area. Whether you’re new to faith or have been following Jesus for years, Rooted is designed to help you take your next step and develop a faith that lasts. The group will stay overnight in a hotel for one night.

Costume Party — 6th-8th Grade Students

Join us for our Halloween Costume Party during Student Ministry and come dressed in your best costume for a chance to win awesome prizes. We’ll have special awards for categories like Best Dressed, Best Duo, Funniest Costume, Most Creative Costume and more. Along with the costume contest, students can enjoy games, worship, biblical teaching, giveaways and a great night with friends. Whether you go all out or keep it simple, this is a night you won’t want to miss. Invite your friends and come show off your creativity.

Harvest Fest — 6th-8th Grade Students
November 7 // 3-5 PM // Mt. Horeb Church
You are invited to Harvest Fest! Come enjoy an afternoon of fall fun with games, food, inflatables – all happening at the church. From 3-5 PM we will provide the fun; you just bring treats! Names ending in A-M bring something salty and N-Z bring something sweet.

Christmas Costume Party — 6th-8th Grade Students

Get ready for a night of festive fun! Show off your costume on the runway and have a chance to win prizes in various categories. Be prepared to compete with your squad to try and top the leader board before Christmas Break. Bring your friends, a festive snack, dress to impress and join us!

Labor Day is right around the corner and that can mean only one thing…it’s time to bowl! Meet us at 12:15 PM to load up the vans. We will head to Stars and Strikes in Irmo. The cost is $25 for bowling and lunch while at the bowling center. Register online.

Join us for High School Serve Day as we head into the Lexington community to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Throughout the day, students will serve alongside one another through meaningful projects that bless local schools, non-profits, ministries and families in need.
